About
About grigori guitchounts...
I was born in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the U.S. when I was ten years old. I am a neuroscientist by training, interested in the intersections between neuroscience and artificial intelligence. I am an avid writer and enjoy playing piano, composing music, painting, and running.
I did my undergraduate work at Boston University and spent two years as a technician in the lab of Tim Gardner at BU, working on developing new technologies for recording neural signals in behaving animals.
I received my PhD in Neuroscience at Harvard, undertook postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School, and am currently an Associate at Flagship Pioneering, working on AI/ML venture creation and research.
Guitchounts is pronounced gee-chunz, with gee like geese and chunz like you just sneezed.
